At Crescent Bahuman Limited, the Deputy Manager Quality Control Sewing leads quality assurance efforts specifically for the sewing process. This role demands an experienced professional who takes charge of developing and executing the Quality Management Plan to ensure product standards meet company and industry benchmarks. You will coordinate effectively with production teams, industrial engineering, production planning and control, as well as external quality assurance personnel to foster seamless quality workflows. Managing a team of five, you oversee their performance rigorously through key performance indicators, cultivating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the quality assurance function.
You play a pivotal role in establishing and enforcing process control checkpoints in sewing operations to detect and mitigate defects early. Your expertise in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and conducting internal and quality audits is essential to identify quality gaps and drive enhancements. The position calls for a seasoned professional with at least eight years of experience, who is capable of managing multidisciplinary collaborations and is proactive in addressing quality challenges to uphold product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management Plan tailored for sewing processes.
- Collaborate with Production, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning and Control, and External QA teams to align quality standards and resolve issues promptly.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the AQC team of five members, ensuring their performance meets established KPIs.
- Establish and monitor process control checkpoints within sewing operations to maintain consistent product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any quality deviations in sewing and initiate corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
- Perform regular process and quality audits to assess compliance with quality protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Report quality metrics and audit findings to senior management, recommending actionable insights for quality enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards related to textile and garment quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sewing quality, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
- Coordinate training sessions for the quality assurance team and production staff to bolster quality awareness and technical skills.
- Qualification : 16 years from HEC Recognized University
