We are seeking a dedicated CRO & UX Analyst to join our team on a full-time remote basis. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience and availability to overlap with Sydney business hours starting from 2:00 PM AEST. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with senior CRO professionals to analyze user behavior, identify conversion barriers, and provide actionable insights that drive client success. This is a permanent position, not freelance or contract, and demands a motivated individual with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth analysis using GA4 and behavioral analytics tools such as Hotjar, Contentsquare, FullStory, or Microsoft Clarity to understand user actions and conversion issues.
- Develop custom reports, funnel and path explorations, and user segments in GA4 to pinpoint where users drop off and what drives changes in conversion rates.
- Identify trends and patterns over time, analyzing key ratios like conversion rate, average order value, and checkout completion to distinguish real changes from noise.
- Link site metrics to business outcomes, quantifying the financial impact of conversion improvements.
- Analyze A/B test results comprehensively, including confidence levels and sample sizes, and break down findings by segments to explain user behavior shifts.
- Utilize session recordings, heatmaps, and heuristic reviews to detect conversion blockers and validate findings across multiple data sources.
- Monitor data quality by spotting anomalies such as missing events or duplicates, diagnosing tracking issues, and clearly communicating these to developers for resolution.
- Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks such as reporting and initial data analysis, ensuring all AI-generated outputs are thoroughly reviewed for accuracy.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both internal teams and clients, presenting insights in plain language and engaging confidently in discussions.
- Maintain a collaborative approach by sharing ideas, respectfully disagreeing when necessary, and acknowledging when further investigation is required.

Required Qualifications

- Over five years of hands-on experience with GA4 or Universal Analytics, including building custom reports, explorations, and segments to answer conversion-related questions.
- Proven expertise in analyzing and interpreting A/B test results with the ability to explain why tests succeed or fail.
- Strong business acumen with comfort in working with trends, ratios, and commercial metrics to relate data insights to revenue impact.
- Regular practical experience with at least one behavioral analytics tool such as Hotjar, Contentsquare, FullStory, or Microsoft Clarity.
- Advanced proficiency in using AI tools for automation, reporting, and basic data analysis, coupled with a rigorous habit of verifying outputs.
- Solid understanding of tracking principles sufficient to identify data issues and communicate effectively with developers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Background in tracking or tagging technologies like Google Tag Manager is advantageous for troubleshooting purposes.
- Skills in Python, SQL, or BigQuery are welcome if they complement GA4 and behavioral analytics work.
- Certifications in behavioral analytics platforms such as Contentsquare, Hotjar, or FullStory are a plus.
- Experience working in a CRO agency environment is beneficial but not mandatory.

This role offers the opportunity to be deeply involved in driving client growth through data insights and collaboration within a supportive and motivated team. If you have a curious mindset, a can-do attitude, and a commitment to accuracy and continuous learning, you will thrive in this position.
