We are seeking a “Full Stack PHP” responsible for developing Magento & WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems (CMS).
Responsibilities
· Develop responsive, standards-compliant HTML5 and CS3S3 themes for WordPress as well as Designing and implementing new features and functionality
· Install, customize, test and debug WordPress plugins and develop new plugins as needed
· Setup and configure Magento, Store catalog (categories/products/attributes), Sales orders (quotes/orders/invoices/shipments/credits)
· Custom Magento extension development & theme development
· Configure Apache and/or NGINX web servers and MySQL databases
· Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS (Joomla, OpenCart, Drupal etc)
· Prototype functionality for internal and client review
Skills and Qualifications
· Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
· Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
· Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
· Good understanding of Magento code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components
· Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
