Crypto Investment Associate

We are looking for a Crypto Investment Associate to join our investment team and provide support across market research, trading operations, investment analysis, and investor reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cryptocurrency markets, hands-on experience in trading or investment research, and the ability to independently manage analytical and operational tasks in a dynamic hedge fund environment. This role involves close collaboration with experienced crypto traders, a deep comprehension of market dynamics, and contributing to the creation of data-driven investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on cryptocurrency markets, tokens, protocols, and potential investment opportunities.
- Support trading operations, monitor portfolio performance, and assist with investment-related analysis.
- Collect, analyze, and validate market data to support investment models and decision-making.
- Assist in developing and maintaining financial models, trading analytics, and performance reporting.
- Prepare and update investor presentations, performance reports, and fund documentation.
- Research market trends, token performance, and relevant industry developments to inform strategy.
- Support evaluation of trading strategies and review historical performance data.
- Collaborate effectively with traders, investment professionals, and technical teams to enhance workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve research processes, reporting accuracy, and investment workflows.
- Execute assigned tasks independently with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in investment research, trading, financial analysis, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and core investment principles.
- Demonstrable knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and trading dynamics.
- Experience conducting financial or market research with strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Experience creating professional presentations and financial reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
- Willingness to work US/California-aligned hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with crypto portfolio management, trading strategies, or quantitative analysis is highly valued.
- Familiarity with on-chain analytics and blockchain data enhances candidate suitability.
- Experience working with trading dashboards, market data APIs, or analytical tools is a plus.
