Huawei is seeking an experienced CS Core Planning Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CS core network planning, capacity analysis, network design, optimization, and project support integration. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing complex network environments and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization, analyze growth trends, forecast traffic, and conduct capacity analysis across CS core network elements.
- Develop and understand end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for CS core products including MSC, STPs, SVC, and HLR.
- Recommend and implement network optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal teams, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend the best technical solutions.
- Define operational standards, review engineering packages, and drive improvements in network deployment and monitoring processes.
- Ensure network safety and compliance with relevant standards.
- Support project integration activities including commissioning, implementation, and acceptance of new network nodes, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in core network operations, particularly within the CS domain.
- Solid understanding of basic communication and data communication principles.
- Expert knowledge of CS core call flows and scenarios aligned with 3GPP, GSMA, IEEE, and ETSI standards.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills using internal and external tracing tools such as Wireshark.
- In-depth knowledge of CS network nodes including VMSC, GMSC, SBC, OSS, HSS, and associated protocols like SCCP, BSSAP, RANAP, SS7, SIGTRAN, M3UA, and MTP3.
- Strong ability to analyze customer requirements, manage technical problems, and provide effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills to engage with mid-level technical customers regarding solutions, project plans, and progress updates.
