Custom Clearance Associate

Shark Innovation Labs is looking for a skilled Customs Clearance Associate to join our team in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics, with a strong understanding of customs procedures and documentation related to air and sea cargo clearance. This role requires familiarity with customs processes at key ports such as Jebel Ali and Sharjah, as well as expertise in handling shipments through airport free zones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customs clearance for sea and air cargo, specifically at Jebel Ali port, Sharjah port, and Airport Free Zone cargo.
- Submit customs declarations online for shipments destined for Dubai and Sharjah.
- Utilize DP World and Dubai Trade Portal systems efficiently for customs processing.
- Summarize invoices accurately by HS Codes to ensure proper classification.
- Handle Mirsal 2 declarations for both import and export shipments with precision.
- Review and verify customs documentation requirements for various shipment types.
- Process and validate different customs forms required for exports.
- Ensure timely submission of Bills of Entry to avoid shipment delays.
- Maintain CDR/SG accounts promptly to prevent fines and penalties.
- Apply knowledge of land, sea, and air cargo customs clearance procedures within the shipping and logistics sectors.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customs clearance, preferably within the UAE or Saudi Arabia. Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Mirsal 2 and DP World online payment systems.
- Familiarity with the Dubai Trade Portal and its functionalities.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven work environment.

Employment Details:
This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Faisalabad. The salary range for this role is between Rs50,000 and Rs80,000 per month. The position requires in-person attendance at the workplace.
