Custom / Wordpress Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with strong expertise in custom WordPress development, Laravel, and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing websites, web portals, APIs, and business applications that meet high standards of quality, security, and performance. This role requires hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development, with a focus on creating scalable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and extend functionality using hooks and filters.
- Build robust web portals and business applications utilizing the Laravel framework.
- Create responsive and dynamic frontends using React, Vue.js, or other compatible frontend technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, database schemas, authentication mechanisms, and role-based access control.
- Ensure code quality by following best practices for security, performance optimization, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing websites and applications to ensure smooth operation.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in custom WordPress development including themes, plugins, hooks, and filters.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Laravel MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, middleware, database migrations, and API development.
- Practical knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or other Laravel-compatible technologies.
- Solid skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and version control systems like Git.
- Proven experience in developing complex web portals, dashboards, and business applications.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Mandatory Requirements
- Willingness to work full-time on-site during the night shift at our Karachi office.
- Demonstrated practical experience in Laravel, custom WordPress development, and frontend technologies.

Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is Rs 80,000 to Rs 130,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
