Customer Tech - Salesforce - QA - Senior

EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) team in Hyderabad is looking for a Senior Salesforce QA professional with 4 to 8 years of experience. This role is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality Salesforce applications and integrations by implementing thorough testing strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with development and client teams, taking ownership of end-to-end testing processes within a collaborative and innovative global environment. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather and understand system requirements and user stories. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts derived from both functional and technical specifications. Define clear test objectives, scope, and success criteria for each phase of testing. Execute test cases to validate Salesforce functionality, integrations, and customizations while managing defects efficiently. Demonstrate deep expertise in Salesforce modules such as Configuration and Setup, Object Manager, Lightning App Builder, Security, Automation Rules, Analytics, and Profiles. Conduct thorough testing on Salesforce Lightning Apps, standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, tabs, reports, and other components. Utilize Developer Console for SOQL queries and have a solid understanding of workflow and process automation tools including Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Validation Rules. Apply strong knowledge of Salesforce security concepts like Organization Security Settings, OWD, Sharing Rules, Profiles, and Permission Sets. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across multiple environments including Sandbox, UAT, and Production. Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, providing valuable QA insights and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Document test results, execution logs, defects, and deviations clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development, testing, and implementation stages. Prepare detailed business analyses outlining challenges, opportunities, and proposed solutions.

Required Qualifications
4 to 8 years of experience in Salesforce QA testing with strong functional knowledge of CRM technologies, particularly Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Hands-on experience in integration testing and possession of Salesforce administrator certification. Solid understanding of Salesforce analytics, including reports, dashboards, and data management tools such as Data Loader and Import Wizard. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proven experience working within Agile software development environments, especially Scrum.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
