Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across networks, endpoints, cloud environments, and applications.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and proactive threat hunting activities.
- Manage and optimize security tools including SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), EDR/XDR (Endpoint Detection and Response/Extended Detection and Response), firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Secure AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications against threats such as prompt injection, data leakage, and other emerging vulnerabilities.
- Develop and enforce policies for the safe use of AI tools, addressing AI-enabled threats like deepfake fraud and AI-generated phishing attacks.
- Evaluate AI-powered security solutions and support compliance efforts with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.
- Prepare comprehensive risk assessments, incident reports, and security awareness materials to educate and inform stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and cloud security principles.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, incident response procedures, and vulnerability management techniques.
- Working knowledge of security risks associated with AI and LLM technologies.
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate tasks and enhance security operations.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
