- Harden Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) settings, and containerized workloads.
- Execute security audits and threat modeling exercises for internal projects.
- Develop and test internal tools aimed at automating threat detection and patch management.
- Document security findings, recommend remediation strategies, and work closely with development teams to implement fixes.

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including OWASP guidelines, threat modeling, and secure design concepts.
- Practical experience with GCP security tools such as IAM, Security Command Center (SCC), Key Management Service (KMS), and VPC Service Controls.
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools like Burp Suite, nmap, and Metasploit.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps workflows and secure Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Ability to analyze security logs, decode payloads, and interpret security events effectively.
- Balanced expertise in both offensive security techniques and defensive strategies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This internship offers a dynamic, security-focused environment where you will face real-world cybersecurity challenges and gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure security. The part-time schedule provides flexibility, making it suitable for students or professionals seeking to enhance their skills alongside other commitments. While the internship is unpaid, it presents a valuable opportunity to develop practical expertise and build a professional network. Successful interns may be considered for permanent positions, providing a clear career pathway. The fully remote nature of the role supports candidates across Pakistan, encouraging diversity and inclusion.
