We are looking for an SEO expert with at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrable track record.
You will be assigned to work with a digital agency in the UK and required to work remotely (i.e., from home/ your own premises) during UK working hours.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Planning and managing on-page and off-page SEO for a range of clients
- Deliver key SEO tasks such as keyword research, competitor analysis and performance analysis
- Conduct SEO Audits
- Optimise onsite content, metadata, blog content for different clients’ websites
- Identify and execute technical fixes in 404s, alt tags and meta data etc.
- Support the implementation of inbound link building strategies
- Carrying out Google Analytics and Google Search Console evaluations and reporting back results with suggestions for improvement to clients as required as well as optimising Google Analytics accounts for improved reporting.
- Be involved in new business pitches when required
- Be aware of industry developments and their potential impact on organic search rankings
- Keep up to date on new trends and methods, reporting back to the wider business
- brief team members/ external writers to produce content.
- Uploading content and ensuring it is well optimised.
- Perform speed optimisation on websites
- Prepare client reports and liaise with clients on results
Other Requirements
- You must have good English written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)
- Agency experience preferable
- Experience in using SEO tools such as Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEranking Ahref, SEMRush (or similar)
- Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar
- Knowledge and understanding of life and culture in the UK (not mandatory but will be an advantage).
- Experience of living and/or studying and/or working in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe or Australia (not mandatory but will be an advantage).
Selection process
- Suitable candidates will be invited for an initial interview over video call (30 minutes)
- Should you be successful at the initial interview stage, you will be invited for a formal interview also over video call (30 minutes)
- This may be followed by a practical activity (around 3 to 4 hours).
