Dairy Accountant (BDR)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dairy Accountant to join our dairy farm team based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This full-time, live-in role is ideal for a young graduate eager to gain practical experience managing daily accounting operations within a dynamic agricultural environment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, be proficient with various software tools, and demonstrate a proactive approach to maintaining accurate financial records and managing payment follow-ups. This position offers a supportive work environment with accommodation and meals provided on-site, allowing close involvement with the farm’s daily financial activities.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounts, bookkeeping, and accurate financial records to ensure smooth financial operations. Utilize accounting software, MS Excel, and Google Sheets to keep records organized and up to date. Perform account reconciliations and verify the accuracy of all financial transactions. Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments and maintain detailed records of recovery efforts. Record and monitor daily farm expenses and cash transactions carefully. Track income, expenditures, and customer outstanding balances consistently to provide clear financial visibility. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to support management in decision-making. Identify discrepancies promptly and ensure the integrity of all financial data.

Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or college-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is essential. Candidates must have a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping practices. Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other digital tools is required to manage records efficiently. Good knowledge of account reconciliation and expense management processes is important. Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail are necessary to maintain accurate financial data. A proactive attitude, honesty, and a willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks are highly valued. Fresh graduates with solid accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Previous experience in accounting within the dairy, livestock, or agriculture sectors is considered an advantage. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 60,000 to 80,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Performance-based bonuses are available separately upon achieving targets. Free accommodation is provided on the farm premises, along with three meals served daily as part of the employment package. Employees are granted four holidays per month to support a healthy work-life balance.
