DAMC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, tax preparation, and the management of general ledger activities. This role requires familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards, specifically with ZATCA regulations, ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial laws. Managing a team of one, the Accountant will contribute to smooth financial operations and support strategic decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial information. The Accountant must possess excellent auditing capabilities and be proficient in using various accounting software tools to maintain accurate financial records. The position is ideal for a professional with at least five years of experience in handling accounts payable and receivable, financial compliance, and regulatory requirements. The candidate will need to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure full compliance and enhance the companys financial integrity.
Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage and maintain the general ledger, including reconciliations and adjustments.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
Prepare tax returns and coordinate tax payments in compliance with ZATCA regulations.
Assist in internal and external auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure adherence to financial compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the organization.
Utilize accounting software to record transactions, generate reports, and streamline accounting processes.
Supervise and provide guidance to a junior team member, fostering their professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and financial controls.
Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions to maintain balanced accounts.
Stay updated with changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards to ensure continuous compliance.
