- Preparation of Mechanical Layout, General Arrangement and piping drawings.
- Draft & check detailed design drawings of piping systems & supports in accordance with industry standards, codes and client specifications.
- Construction or 3D modelling experience
- Drafting of layout / Mechanical / Piping using a 3D software like Civil 3D, PDMS, Rivet, AutoCAD 2D & 3D etc,
- Carry out 3D modelling & design activities of piping systems & supports using above tools.
- Prepare piping / Mechanical drawings as required by the Piping/ Mechanical Engineer.
- Interpret and administer various Pipe Material and options.
- Provide technical input during detailed engineering of projects.
- Attends to internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize plant operations and maximize efficiency.
- Conduct process simulations using HYSYS software to design new process plants, evaluate process, performance, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions.
- Facilitate HazOp studies to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies to ensure safe operations during the design stage.
- Develop and maintain PFD & P&ID drawings, process descriptions, control narratives, standard operating procedures, and other process documentation, to ensure accuracy, safety and successful plant operation.
- Work with production personnel to identify and address process bottlenecks, propose debottlenecking opportunities, and improve product quality.
- Analyze process data from existing operations to monitor plant parameters & operation within acceptable/safe ranges and verify equipment efficiency & constraints.
- Provide technical support to operations personnel to ensure smooth plant operations and assist with troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new projects and process changes & improvements.
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
