We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development professional to design and deliver comprehensive technical training programs across Pakistan’s logistics operations. This role involves onboarding new hires, conducting refresher sessions, and upskilling employees to ensure alignment with operational standards, processes, and KPIs. The ideal candidate will develop engaging training materials, facilitate various training formats, and collaborate closely with Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in workforce capability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement technical training programs tailored to Pakistan Logistics operations. Conduct structured onboarding sessions for new employees, covering processes, SOPs, systems, KPIs, and operational expectations. Deliver refresher and upskilling training based on identified capability gaps and evolving operational needs.

Facilitate training through classroom, on-the-job, and virtual methods as appropriate. Develop and maintain a variety of learning materials including presentations, SOP-based guides, tutorials, case studies, quizzes, and assessments. Simplify complex logistics processes into clear, practical content that enhances understanding and application.

Ensure all training materials are regularly updated to reflect the latest operational changes, systems, and SOPs. Create and administer quizzes, tests, and knowledge checks to evaluate learning outcomes. Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge gains and identify areas requiring further development.

Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure effective application of training on the job. Maintain detailed training trackers to monitor onboarding progress, refresher sessions, assessment results, certifications, and completion status. Prepare regular reports and dashboards to inform management of training effectiveness and gaps.

Partner with Operations Excellence and Logistics teams to analyze operational data and recurring issues, identifying training needs that address performance gaps. Develop targeted interventions and measure their impact against operational KPIs. Establish standardized onboarding frameworks, checklists, and learning paths for various logistics roles.

Coordinate with HR and Operations to ensure smooth transitions from training to live operations, continuously refining onboarding processes based on feedback and new hire performance. Support behavioral and interpersonal skills training initiatives such as communication, customer handling, teamwork, problem-solving, and professional conduct.

Work closely with HR, L&D, Logistics Operations, and other stakeholders to align training schedules with operational demands, minimizing disruption. Serve as the primary L&D contact for Pakistan Logistics, actively gathering feedback to enhance training effectiveness. Utilize AI tools to streamline and optimize learning and development tasks.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field. Two to four years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Training, Operations Training, Logistics, Supply Chain, E-commerce, Retail, or similar operational environments.

Proven experience designing and delivering training programs, preferably with frontline or field-based employees. Strong skills in training delivery, presentation, and development of engaging learning materials. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining training trackers and reports.

Ability to create quizzes, assessments, and knowledge checks. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, comfortable working with operational data and KPIs. Good understanding of SOPs and process documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging operational teams.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-driven, and proactive with a strong execution mindset. Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate them effectively. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment. Strong stakeholder coordination skills and willingness to travel to logistics hubs as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Relevant certifications in Learning & Development, training, logistics, or supply chain are advantageous. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms is a plus. Exposure to logistics, courier, warehouse, last-mile delivery, transportation, or e-commerce operations is highly desirable.
