Data & AI Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data and AI Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise data and AI architecture. This role requires a strong background in data platforms, AI/ML solutions, cloud architecture, and data governance. The successful candidate will develop scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with business goals and regulatory standards. Collaboration with technology, data, and business teams is essential to drive innovation and optimize data and AI capabilities across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and maintain enterprise data and AI architecture in line with business strategy and technology standards.
- Design comprehensive data and AI solutions, including data pipelines, AI model deployment, and integration with enterprise platforms.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance data and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Enterprise Architects, business units, and external partners to deliver strategic solutions.
- Optimize data storage, processing, and AI model performance across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Establish and uphold data architecture, AI governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Ensure all data and AI solutions meet business requirements, enterprise policies, and regulatory obligations.
- Lead architectural problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Approve architectural designs, technology standards, and solution blueprints.
- Recommend technology investments and vendor selections to support enterprise data and AI initiatives.
- Drive the development of scalable, secure, and future-ready data and AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in data architecture, AI/ML solution design, and technology leadership, preferably within financial services or technology sectors.
- Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, including Azure and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, cloud architectures, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Proven knowledge of data governance, data security, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale data and AI solutions.
- Ability to architect end-to-end data pipelines, AI/ML solutions, and enterprise platform integrations.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with business, security, and regulatory requirements.
