Data & AI Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data and AI Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise data and AI architecture. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in data platforms, AI/ML solutions, cloud architecture, and data governance. This role requires developing scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with business goals and regulatory standards. You will work closely with technology, data, and business teams to foster innovation and optimize data and AI capabilities across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and maintain enterprise data and AI architecture that aligns with business strategy and technology standards.
- Design comprehensive data and AI solutions, including data pipelines, AI model deployment, and integration with enterprise platforms.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance data and AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Enterprise Architects, business units, and external partners to deliver strategic solutions.
- Optimize data storage, processing, and AI model performance across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Establish and uphold data architecture, AI governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Ensure that data and AI solutions meet business requirements, enterprise policies, and regulatory obligations.
- Lead architectural problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical and operational challenges.
- Approve architectural designs, technology standards, and solution blueprints.
- Recommend technology investments and vendor selections to support enterprise data and AI initiatives.
- Drive the development of scalable, secure, and future-ready data and AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in data architecture, AI/ML solution design, and technology leadership, preferably within financial services or technology sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise data platforms, including Azure and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, cloud architectures, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Expertise in data governance, data security, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-scale data and AI solutions.
- Ability to architect end-to-end data pipelines, AI/ML solutions, and enterprise platform integrations.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication abilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with business, security, and regulatory requirements.
