We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong skills in SQL and Spark SQL, along with hands-on experience in ETL setup and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and optimizing queries to extract and analyze data efficiently, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is advantageous. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize SQL and Spark SQL queries to enable efficient data extraction and analysis.
- Support the design, setup, and maintenance of ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the pipeline.
- Develop reports and interactive dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau to provide actionable insights.
- Conduct thorough data quality checks and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or issues.
- Generate and maintain data reports using Excel and other reporting platforms to support business operations.
- Analyze and interpret Java logs to troubleshoot technical issues and provide detailed reports.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective data solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of professional experience working with SQL, Spark SQL, and Unix commands.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP or AWS is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate data findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
