Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems

The Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems will play a critical role in developing and operating data integration, data warehousing, and analytics solutions using Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This position supports Telenor’s cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP financial solutions and their integrations with other cloud ERPs and Coupa. The role requires working in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with multiple teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions that meet business needs. The expert will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing data pipelines, dashboards, and reports, ensuring performance tuning and operational excellence within the Finance Systems Squad based in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW, integrating data from Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS R12.x, and other systems.
- Build, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Collaborate with application teams, developers, and business users to gather and fulfill reporting requirements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, datasets, and data flows within Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Perform performance tuning and monitoring of ADW, ODI jobs, and OAC content to ensure optimal system efficiency.
- Manage interactions with Oracle support for issue resolution and system improvements.
- Fix application and code bugs and handle ad hoc data extraction and report development.
- Extract and report Fusion ERP data using BICC, OTBI, and BI Publisher as needed.
- Provide technical support for data warehousing, integration, and analytics projects while meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a technical understanding of Financials and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in data warehousing and business intelligence development, specifically with Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and ODI.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse including schema design, data loading, SQL/PL-SQL development, and performance tuning.
- Proficient in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) covering mappings, packages, load plans, knowledge modules, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Skilled in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for developing datasets, data flows, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, dimensional data modeling (star schema), and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Relevant certifications or proven experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Database, and ODI tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion technical components such as BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs, ADF Desktop Integrator, and Fusion data extraction is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects data is beneficial; exposure to Oracle EBS R12.2 is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and diverse cultural environments, including flexibility to work shifts, public holidays, and off days.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
