Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems

The Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems will play a critical role in developing and managing data integration, warehousing, and analytics solutions within a cloud environment. This position focuses on Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to support Telenor’s cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP and related financial systems. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to gather requirements, deliver reporting solutions, and ensure smooth operations aligned with Agile methodologies. The expert will contribute to enhancing financial data reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring high performance and reliability in a dynamic, global business setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW, integrating data from Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS R12.x, and other sources.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using ODI, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting data loads.
- Collaborate with application teams, developers, and business users to understand and fulfill reporting requirements.
- Develop dashboards, reports, datasets, and data flows within Oracle Analytics Cloud to support finance operations.
- Perform performance tuning and monitoring of ADW, ODI jobs, and OAC content to optimize system efficiency.
- Coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution and system improvements.
- Fix application and code bugs promptly to maintain solution stability.
- Conduct ad hoc data extraction and report generation as needed.
- Utilize Fusion ERP reporting tools such as BICC, OTBI, and BI Publisher for data extraction and reporting where applicable.
- Provide technical support for ongoing projects involving data warehousing, integration, and analytics solutions.
- Ensure delivery of services in line with agreed KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a technical understanding of Financials and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in data warehousing and business intelligence development, with hands-on expertise in Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and ODI.
- Strong skills in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, including schema design, data loading, SQL/PL-SQL development, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator for creating mappings, packages, load plans, and managing scheduling and monitoring tasks.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud for developing datasets, data flows, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, dimensional data modeling (star schema), and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and operate effectively across multiple time zones and diverse cultures.
- Willingness to work during public holidays, shifts, and off days as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion technical components such as BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs, and ADF Desktop Integrator is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects data, along with exposure to Oracle EBS R12.2, is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Database, or ODI are highly desirable.
