Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems

The Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems will play a critical role in developing and operating data integration, data warehousing, and analytics solutions using Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This position supports Telenor Shared Services Pakistan’s Finance Systems Squad by delivering cloud-based ERP data solutions, primarily focused on Oracle Fusion ERP and its integrations. The role involves close collaboration with multiple teams to ensure accurate and efficient reporting, adhering to Agile methodologies and maintaining high service levels. The expert will contribute to the continuous improvement of finance-related data processes and analytics capabilities within a dynamic, diverse, and globally oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW, sourcing data from Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS R12.x, and other systems.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using ODI, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting load failures.
- Collaborate with application teams, developers, and business users to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, datasets, and data flows within Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Perform performance tuning and monitoring of ADW, ODI jobs, and OAC content to ensure optimal system operation.
- Coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution and system improvements.
- Fix application and code bugs promptly to maintain system reliability.
- Conduct ad hoc data extraction and report development as needed.
- Support Fusion ERP data extraction and reporting using BICC, OTBI, and BI Publisher where applicable.
- Provide technical support for projects involving data warehousing, integration, and analytics solutions.
- Ensure delivery of KPIs as per Service Level Agreements and report performance to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a technical understanding of Financials and Supply Chain Management processes.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing and BI development, specifically with Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and ODI.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse: schema design, data loading, SQL/PL-SQL development, and performance tuning.
- Proficient in Oracle Data Integrator: mappings, packages, load plans, knowledge modules, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Skilled in Oracle Analytics Cloud: datasets, data flows, dashboards, data actions, and semantic modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL, dimensional data modeling (star schema), and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and operate across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including public holidays and off days.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion technical components such as BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs, ADF Desktop Integrator, and Fusion data extraction.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects data; experience with EBS R12.2 is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Database, or ODI are highly desirable.
