Key Responsibilities
As a Data Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of TV and streaming content data. Your tasks will include researching and verifying information about movies, series, episodes, and shows. You will create, update, and maintain content records in our database, reviewing metadata such as titles, synopses, genres, cast and crew details, and release information. Identifying and correcting missing, inaccurate, duplicated, or inconsistent data will be part of your daily work. You will use reliable online sources to validate and enrich content and adhere to internal editorial guidelines and quality standards. Managing large volumes of data efficiently while maintaining high accuracy is essential. Collaboration with colleagues and other teams will be necessary when clarifications or further investigations are required. Additionally, you will learn new tools, processes, and content standards as projects evolve.
Required Qualifications
- Based in Pakistan
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills
- Highly structured working style with outstanding attention to detail, able to spot errors quickly
- Comfortable working with data, computers, and databases
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong motivation to succeed and willingness to engage fully from day one
- Passionate about the product and the impact of high-quality metadata on the entertainment industry
- Genuine interest in TV, movies, streaming platforms, and entertainment content
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Completed higher education, diploma, technical studies, or university degree in Business, Data, Media, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in media, broadcasting, streaming, or entertainment industries

Additional Information
- This is a freelance, remote role based in Pakistan, requiring 40 hours per week
- The position reports to the Editorial Project Manager
- Compensation is up to €450 per month for full-time allocation
