Data Engineer - ETL

As a Data Engineer specializing in ETL processes, you will design and implement data integration solutions to ensure efficient data flow across our systems. Your role includes optimizing data pipelines, managing large datasets, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to fulfill data processing requirements. You will work primarily within the healthcare domain, supporting complex database migrations and contributing to the enhancement of healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, resolving complex database migration challenges, particularly related to healthcare data.
- Develop and share best practices, sample code, and technical presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage with clients to gather project requirements and ensure successful end-to-end project delivery.
- Migrate transactional databases such as SQL Server (2008 and above), PostgreSQL, and MySQL to the CureMD Platform.
- Perform data scraping tasks using Python.
- Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand technical needs and assist in designing, planning, managing, and troubleshooting data migration processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data migration strategies, including large-scale production system migrations in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server (2008+), PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Strong SQL skills combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data scraping using Python.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with database management tools for backups, recovery, snapshot management, and partitioning.
- Hands-on experience developing ELT or ETL workflows.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
