Data Engineer - ETL

As a Data Engineer specializing in ETL processes, you will design and implement data integration solutions to ensure efficient data flow across our systems. Your role includes optimizing data pipelines, managing large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill data processing requirements. You will work closely with healthcare clients, addressing complex database migration challenges and contributing to the seamless transition of transactional databases to our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, resolving complex database migration issues, particularly within healthcare data environments.
- Develop and present best practices, sample code, and technical guidance tailored to both business and technical audiences.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather project requirements and ensure successful delivery from initiation to completion.
- Migrate transactional databases such as SQL Server (2008 and above), PostgreSQL, and MySQL to the CureMD platform.
- Perform data scraping tasks using Python.
- Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand technical needs and assist in designing, planning, managing, and troubleshooting data migration processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data migration strategies, including large-scale production system migrations in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Strong experience with SQL Server (2008+), PostgreSQL, and MySQL database technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in data scraping using Python.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience developing ELT or ETL workflows.
- Familiarity with database management tools for backups, recovery, snapshot management, and partitioning.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in the healthcare IT domain is highly preferred.
- Background in O/A levels is considered an advantage.
