We are seeking a Data Engineer with 1 to 1.5 years of experience to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, and Docker, along with a working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. This role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines, processing large datasets, and supporting scalable data solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to ensure smooth data flow.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Utilize Python and PySpark for processing and transforming large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across various data sources.
- Containerize applications and data workflows using Docker for deployment and scalability.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP for data storage, processing, and deployment tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and processing workflows.
- Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and other teams to support data requirements.
- Adhere to best practices for data security, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Assist in automating and improving existing data workflows to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 1.5 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Good programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience using PySpark.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments for application deployment.
- Basic understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS or GCP.
- Solid grasp of ETL/ELT concepts and experience working with data pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
