Data Entry & Advanced Excel Specialist

Core Edge Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry & Advanced Excel Specialist to join their team on-site in Gulberg, Lahore. This role demands strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, data management, reporting, and automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, efficiently handling large datasets, and preparing comprehensive reports. This position operates on a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM and is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately entering, updating, organizing, and maintaining data within Excel spreadsheets and databases is a core part of this role. The specialist will prepare, format, and maintain Excel reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support business needs. Utilizing advanced Excel formulas and functions for data management and analysis is essential. The role also involves creating and managing Pivot Tables, Power Query reports, and automated spreadsheets to streamline processes. Data cleaning, validation, deduplication, and error correction will be performed regularly to ensure data integrity. Extracting, consolidating, and organizing data from multiple sources while identifying missing values and duplicates is expected. Maintaining structured records with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality is critical. The specialist will automate repetitive data entry and reporting tasks using VBA macros. Collaboration with internal teams to collect, verify, and update information as required is also part of the responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Data Validation. A strong command of formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, nested IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, and IFERROR is required. Experience with conditional formatting, dynamic arrays, and advanced text, date, and logical functions is essential. Skills in data sorting, filtering, formatting, and spreadsheet management are necessary. The ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry with meticulous attention to detail is critical. Experience in data cleaning, deduplication, and handling missing or NULL values using tools like Flash Fill and Text to Columns is expected. Candidates should be able to work with large volumes of data under tight deadlines. Basic knowledge of VBA for macros and task automation is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important. An educational background or degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related fields is advantageous. Relevant experience of 6 months to 1 year in data entry, Excel reporting, or data management is needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Basic SQL knowledge is considered a plus. Familiarity with Power BI and other data visualization tools will be an advantage. Experience with data exports, reporting, and spreadsheet automation further enhances candidacy. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on data accuracy and process improvement. The role requires on-site presence in Lahore with a fixed night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
