We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate digital records related to inventory, shipments, receiving logs, and daily warehouse operations. Your work will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth communication between warehouse staff, logistics, and management by keeping our database accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Tracking: Accurately and promptly enter new stock arrivals, internal transfers, and outgoing shipments into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP software.
Documentation & Verification: Cross-check incoming and outgoing shipping manifests, purchase orders, and delivery receipts against physical inventory to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Report Generation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing inventory levels, stock movements, and shipping statuses for warehouse management review.
Data Maintenance: Regularly update and audit database records to eliminate duplicates, correct errors, and maintain overall data integrity.
Communication: Collaborate closely with warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, and the logistics team to quickly address missing data, delayed shipments, or inventory mismatches.
Administrative Support: Provide general clerical assistance such as filing paperwork, responding to internal queries, and managing office supplies at the warehouse desk.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of proven experience as a data entry operator, warehouse clerk, or in a similar administrative role. Familiarity with warehouse environments is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas). Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is essential.
Typing & Accuracy: Exceptional typing speed combined with high accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with team members.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or certification in computer science, business administration, or logistics is considered an advantage.
Working Conditions
This position is based in an office or desk space within a warehouse facility and may occasionally require visits to the warehouse floor to conduct physical stock checks. The role primarily involves sitting and computer-based tasks, with occasional standing, walking, and light lifting of paperwork or files.
Compensation and Work Location
The monthly salary starts from Rs35,000. This is an in-person role located at the warehouse facility.
