Data Entry Operator

This position is based in Balochistan and requires a candidate with a minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and at least two years of relevant experience. The role involves working under the supervision of the Superintendent, Data Processing Supervisor, and Data Entry Supervisor to maintain and update all records of the assigned branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for computerizing records using various software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ensuring the proper functioning and safekeeping of computer accessories, and performing all typing tasks related to the branch. The position demands a high level of accuracy and speed, with a data entry speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour and a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute. The age limit for applicants is up to 35 years, considering general and regional age relaxations.

Key Responsibilities

- Work under the guidance of the Superintendent, Data Processing Supervisor, and Data Entry Supervisor to ensure smooth data operations.
- Update and maintain all records of the assigned branch accurately and timely.
- Computerize branch records using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other relevant applications.
- Ensure that all computer accessories are kept in good working condition and are securely stored.
- Perform all typing and data entry tasks related to the branch efficiently.
- Carry out any additional assignments as directed by the authority.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- At least two years of professional experience in data entry or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve a data entry speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour.
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Age limit up to 35 years, including general and regional age relaxations applicable to Balochistan.
