Data Entry Operator (Warehouse)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Entry Operator to join our Purchase and Warehouse Department. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in data entry, purchase documentation, inventory management, and warehouse operations, specifically within a retail grocery setting. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to ensure seamless purchase and inventory workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and maintain purchase-related data within the system.
- Keep comprehensive records of purchase orders, invoices, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and receiving documents.
- Update warehouse stock records regularly, ensuring all information is precise and current.
- Systematically record all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions.
- Verify purchase and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with the Purchase and Warehouse teams to manage stock and procurement records efficiently.
- Prepare daily and periodic reports related to purchase and inventory data as needed.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all purchase and warehouse records.
- Identify and promptly report any discrepancies in stock or purchase data.
- Ensure timely updating of all purchase and inventory transactions to support operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- 6 to 7 years of relevant experience in data entry, preferably in a retail grocery store or warehouse environment.
- Strong background in Purchase Department and Warehouse data entry processes.
- Good knowledge of grocery, FMCG, food, household, and other retail product categories.
- Proven experience maintaining purchase records, invoices, GRNs, stock entries, and related documentation.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional accuracy and efficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain and update daily purchase and stock records consistently.
- Experience handling large volumes of data while maintaining proper documentation.
- Effective coordination skills to collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Accounts, and Operations teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.

This is a full-time, in-person position based at our operational facility. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency of our purchase and warehouse functions within a dynamic retail grocery environment.
