The role focuses on the accurate and timely entry of survey data collected from household questionnaires into designated databases or data entry software. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring data quality and supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) team through preliminary data analysis and effective coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter survey data from household questionnaires into the designated database or data entry software with precision and timeliness.
- Verify data entries by cross-checking against original forms to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct basic data cleaning by identifying and correcting errors, missing values, and inconsistencies.
- Prepare preliminary data summaries or tables as requested by the MEAL team to facilitate further analysis.
- Uphold strict data confidentiality and comply with ethical guidelines when handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate closely with Enumerators and the MEAL team to clarify or resolve any missing or unclear data points.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in data entry and data handling.
- Demonstrated experience working on similar projects with national or international NGOs, INGOs, or comparable institutions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in managing data.
- Proficiency in using data entry software and familiarity with basic data cleaning techniques.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when managing sensitive data.
