Data, Governance & Adoption Analytics SME

Inbox Business Technologies is seeking an experienced Data, Governance & Adoption Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead data governance and analytics efforts within an organisational change or transformation programme. This role is critical in ensuring the technical accuracy of all data-related content while managing the end-to-end adoption measurement framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing KPIs, developing dashboards, and delivering insightful reporting to track programme adoption and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the subject-matter authority on data governance, data quality, data management, data privacy, and BI/analytics concepts across all programme materials.
- Review and validate the technical accuracy of data-related communications and training content to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive KPI and adoption-measurement framework that includes engagement, literacy, and satisfaction metrics.
- Develop and manage BI dashboards, such as those built in Power BI, to monitor programme adoption and overall effectiveness.
- Design, administer, and analyze surveys using tools like Microsoft Forms to assess awareness, satisfaction, and data literacy levels.
- Prepare periodic adoption and measurement reports (quarterly and annual), including trend analysis and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Provide expert advice on data literacy frameworks and the design of awareness assessments.
- Support executive briefings and stakeholder sessions by providing credible data insights and domain expertise.
- Ensure all activities align with the organisation’s data strategy, governance policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Data Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- At least five years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, data quality, analytics, or business intelligence.
- Proven experience working within enterprise data environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain BI dashboards and develop measurement frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance and management frameworks, including DAMA-DMBOK, as well as data quality and data privacy principles.
- Expertise in BI and analytics, KPI framework design, and dashboard development using tools like Power BI or similar platforms.
- Experience in survey design, administration, and analysis, along with stakeholder advisory capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Certification such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from DAMA is preferred.
- BI platform certifications, for example, Power BI Data Analyst certification, are advantageous.
- Cloud data governance certifications are considered a plus.
