Data Management

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Management Officer to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience working with SAP Business One (SAP B1) in a B2B business environment, specifically within trading, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. This role involves managing and maintaining accurate business data, ERP records, and supporting sales, procurement, inventory, and overall business operations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to ensure data integrity across multiple departments are essential. Candidates must be based in or willing to work full-time in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and update business records within SAP Business One, including Business Partner master data for customers and suppliers.
- Maintain Item Master Data, pricing, inventory records, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across sales, purchasing, and inventory modules.
- Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate ERP records to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain comprehensive databases of B2B customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and industrial partners, organizing information by industry, country, product category, and business segment.
- Verify and update company profiles and coordinate with sales, sourcing, and procurement teams to keep records current.
- Handle customer quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, and related transactional data in SAP B1, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage product, machinery, spare parts, and inventory master data, coordinating with warehouse and procurement teams for stock accuracy.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from SAP B1, including sales, purchasing, inventory, and customer analysis.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and preparation of management dashboards and performance summaries.
- Establish and maintain data quality standards through regular validation, cleaning, and duplicate checks.
- Collaborate with SAP B1 support teams to address system issues and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on data security and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum of five years’ relevant professional experience in data management within a B2B business environment.
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of SAP B1 modules including Business Partner Master Data, Item Master Data, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and data analysis.
- Experience managing customer, supplier, product, and inventory databases.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Must be based in or available to work full-time in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Expertise in SAP Business One ERP and Master Data Management.
- Experience with B2B customer and supplier database management.
- Familiarity with SAP B1 Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory modules.
- Skills in data validation, cleaning, and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and SAP B1 reporting tools.
- Experience with Power BI and management dashboard creation.
- Strong background in business data analysis and ERP process optimization.
- Commitment to data security and confidentiality best practices.
