Data Science Trainer

Upskill Training Services is seeking a dedicated Data Science Trainer to join their team in Islamabad. This role involves delivering instructor-led training sessions on various data science topics to learners with differing levels of expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, designing practical exercises and projects, and evaluating learner progress through assignments and quizzes. The trainer will provide personalized support to learners, helping them overcome conceptual and technical challenges while adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. This full-time, on-site position requires close collaboration with the training team to continuously improve the curriculum and maintain high instructional standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and structure comprehensive data science lessons aligned with learner needs and industry standards.
- Develop and prepare instructional materials, exercises, and projects that promote hands-on learning.
- Deliver clear, engaging, and practical training sessions that facilitate understanding of complex data science concepts.
- Assess learner performance through assignments, quizzes, and continuous feedback to ensure knowledge retention and skill development.
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to learners to address individual challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
- Troubleshoot conceptual and technical difficulties encountered by learners during training.
- Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate various learning styles and ensure inclusivity.
- Collaborate regularly with the training team to refine course content and improve instructional methodologies.

Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Science Education, with the ability to relate data science principles to scientific thinking and analytical processes.
- Proven competence in lesson planning, including course structuring, setting clear learning objectives, and creating effective assessments.
- Practical experience with core data science tools and concepts such as Python or R, data analysis, and machine learning fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex ideas in accessible and engaging language.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support a diverse group of learners in a professional, inclusive, and respectful manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in training, teaching, or corporate education, preferably within technical or analytical domains.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Islamabad, Pakistan.
