DatumSquare IT Service, a leading US based software development firm located in Islambad & Lahore, Pakistan is in the process of rapid growth and expanding its team and looking for a talented and passionate SEO Specialist.
The incumbent shall be responsible for optimizing websites and online content to improve visibility on search engines. The SEO Specialist should have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization techniques, and analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for content optimization.
- Analyze competitor keywords to uncover opportunities for ranking improvements.
On-Page SEO:
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images for target keywords.
- Create and update XML sitemaps and robots.txt files.
- Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search engine visibility.
- Ensure mobile-friendliness and page loading speed optimization.
Off-Page SEO:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
- Manage relationships with bloggers, webmasters, and influencers for guest posting and collaboration opportunities.
- Monitor and disavow toxic or spammy backlinks.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Use SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO software to monitor website performance.
- Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
- Make data-driven recommendations for SEO improvements.
Stay Informed:
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, computer science, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in SEO tools and software, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with international and local SEO strategies is a plus.
