Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and financial statement analysis to support the organization's financial health and integrity. The Accounts Officer will work closely with the finance department to assist in financial planning and audit preparation, ensuring timely and accurate financial data processing. This position is suited for a professional with a B.Com or BBA qualification and at least two years of relevant experience. The role does not involve managing a team but requires independent work with a high degree of accuracy and accountability. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in accounting practices and contribute to the financial efficiency and transparency of Dawat-e-Islami Trust.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between the companys financial records and bank statements.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and prepare necessary documentation to support audit activities.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with data protection regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
