The accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting management decisions with in-depth analysis, and upholding compliance procedures across all financial processes. This position demands a thorough understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards, combined with practical experience in taxation, auditing, and financial analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems, accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Tally, and advanced Excel skills are essential. The ACCA/CA Qualified Accountant must work independently, meet strict deadlines, and lead the accounting team effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary to liaise with internal departments and external regulatory bodies, ensuring that Dawn Bread operates within all fiscal and legal guidelines.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounting team of five members, fostering a productive and compliant work environment.
  • Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements according to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and budget management.
  • Oversee taxation matters, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations and timely filing of returns.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process to support the companys financial planning.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by keeping up to date with changes in financial laws and standards.
  • Coordinate and support the annual audit process including liaising with external auditors.
  • Utilize ERP systems like SAP, QuickBooks, and Tally for efficient financial management and reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance to accounting team members to enhance their capabilities and adherence to best practices.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate management reports.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and reliability of financial information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with business goals.
