Job Purpose:
To manage all personal philanthropic and charitable activities for a leading business family
These activities are centered around the development of people living in disfranchised communities and protection & conservation of the environment.
These may include project that fund disaster relief efforts, support education and healthcare of those in need, provide livelihood support, tree plantation drives, protect endangered/threatened species and clean municipal waste from ecologically sensitive areas.
The main responsibilities of the job are:
- Developing relationships with key partner organizations and experts (internal and external) that are in line with the philanthropic activities of the family.
- Developing high-impact opportunities and proposals for consideration
- Managing projects to oversee budget allocations and timeline estimates
- Conducting feedback sessions with beneficiaries before and after the projects to determine success outcomes.
- Liaising with partners to coordinate all administrative activities such as provision of financial support, information gathering and setting up meetings for principals.
- Create opportunities for family to get involved in volunteering efforts.
- Create and manage communication platforms to log and share progress, learnings and benefits of all projects (such as website, social media)
