DCH Solargiga is currently seeking a Project Engineer to support the development, design, and installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) generating systems as well as energy storage options. You will manage the day to day operation of the solar facility to achieve the planned business objective.
Responsibilities & duties:
- Assist with evaluating project requirements to assess business opportunities for solar PV.
- Evaluate energy regulations for opportunities and risks to the solar PV business plan.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project proposals and contract terms.
- Conduct research and provide guidance on key solar industry developments; including, equipment, vendors, partners, competitors, trends, best practices and ever-evolving solar landscape.
- Provide assistance with market evaluation and development of sales materials
- Manage staff and subcontractors in performing Operation & Maintenance on site.
- Gather key project details such as utility data, facility profiles, site drawings, and system operating data as well as preparing reports on those projects.
- Manage safe and reliable operation and maintenance of the generation asset, in accordance with agreed contracts, operating plans and budgets.
- Be available to occasionally respond to urgent operational issues as well as assisting in technical and financial analysis of options.
- Report regularly as required, current safety, production and environmental issues to head office.
- Coordinate, communicate and comply with engineering consultants, contractors, and other partners to develop proposals and coordinate activities
