Do you want to do more than just create JavaScript widgets? We need a Senior Front-End Developer that enjoys taking minimal requirements from design to delivery, start to finish, and thrives in an every changing environment.
This is a creative job to perform UI work for mobile-first/responsive user interfaces for a suite of software apps and products. The UI Designer will work as part of a team of analysts and developers to analyze, design and implement visually appealing and intuitive product interfaces. The UI Designer should be able to translate designs into working front-end (html, css, javascript, etc.) prototypes.
Skills :
- Experience working with UX teams
- Extensive experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
- Excellent understanding of UI & UX design and web site development
- Ability to identify patterns in current product usage
- Understand users' task flows through a system
- Ability to create wireframes that capture business requirements and user needs
- Understand structured content as it relates to content management systems
- Understand basic information architecture concepts such as labeling, navigation systems, and information seeking
- Understand usability testing
- Possess a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day work
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and inter-team skills. Has ability to listen to others and accepts input from team members
- Wireframe and UX design knowledge is a plus
Duties :
- Lead or work with UI/Ux Lead to develop standards and guides for the development team
- Design visually appealing system interfaces that are functional and intuitive (no user training required)
- Support the definition of user stories and acceptance criteria for product features
- Support software testing, including development, integration and acceptance testing
- Perform usability testing to empirically evaluate efficacy of specific designs, using techniques such as A/B Test and Multivariate Testing
- Other duties to implement visually appealing system interfaces that are functional and easy to use
