Production Trainer

Dekalb Trade Voice is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Production Trainer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the training and development of all production personnel, including stitchers, quality checkers, machine operators, and other staff. Your expertise will ensure our workforce is well-equipped with the skills and knowledge to achieve optimal production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs for all production roles, including stitch operations, quality control procedures, machine operation (e.g., safety machines), and other relevant production activities.
Conduct training sessions in classrooms and on the production floor, utilizing various instructional methods like lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and audiovisual aids.
Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and job aids.
Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, observations, and feedback mechanisms.
Identify and address knowledge gaps amongst production staff, providing ongoing coaching and support.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, new technologies, and production methods, continuously improving training content.
Collaborate with supervisors and department heads to understand specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
Contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment that fosters skill development and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
