Delivery Head - Telecom

Capgemini is looking for a seasoned leadership executive to oversee the delivery of a portfolio of accounts within the Communications and Manufacturing industries, focusing on complex engagements. This role demands accountability at the Business Line level for delivery quality, financial performance, client satisfaction, and effective management of delivery-related risks and issues. The executive will ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the quality standards established during the solutioning phase.

Key Responsibilities

- Challenge and approve the delivery model during the solutioning stage, including resourcing, capability, and capacity planning.
- Enhance client engagement through business line delivery resources, driving improved client satisfaction.
- Ensure the financial performance of all delivery engagements aligns with budget commitments.
- Take ownership of delivery risk and margin control by improving delivery quality through governance, proactive and reactive processes, and risk mitigation. Manage margin improvement levers, critical staffing issues, contingencies, and ensure seamless execution with timely issue escalation and resolution.
- Manage delivery feasibility sign-off during solutioning by supporting the solutioning team, ensuring robustness across technical aspects, cost accountability, risk assessment, and final contractual delivery solutions.
- Own or support contract management, ensuring alignment with client needs and contractual agreements, including managing change requests, extensions, and contract renewals.
- Provide delivery expertise and senior leadership by reviewing delivery architecture and execution plans to guarantee engagement success.
- Drive industrialization enablement, including leveraging Generative AI, to boost productivity. Maximize automation and industrialization opportunities to enhance delivery performance and efficiency, thereby improving financial competitiveness.
- Engage with prospective clients during new deal opportunities.
- Support or directly manage client relationships, collaborating with Client Delivery Partners or owning them where no partner exists.
- Ensure effective management of delivery capacity and capability across the Business Line, maintaining appropriate resource sizing.
- Lead and own new delivery initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

- 20-25 years of experience in program management and delivery leadership, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Strong customer orientation with excellent decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional judgment with the ability to develop compelling solutions and solve unstructured problems based on assumptions.
- Demonstrated executive presence and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to build consensus and achieve goals through collaboration rather than direct authority.
- Proven operational management experience, including success in senior internal roles and client-facing engagements.
- Industry-recognized project management certification.
