Accounts Officer

An accountancy firm seeks a detail-focused and proactive Accounts Officer to join the finance team at its DHA Phase 2 (Giga Mall) office in Islamabad. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a motivated accounting graduate with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience who excels in maintaining financial accuracy and consistency. The position requires effective ownership of accounting tasks, excellent organizational skills, and the drive to work independently within a structured professional environment. The Accounts Officer is responsible for managing bookkeeping duties, preparing invoices, managing payroll on quick books and any other task assigned by the Manager. Fair communication skills in English are essential to liaise effectively with clients and internal team members. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, the incumbent will play a critical role in the financial operations of the company by ensuring timely and meticulous financial record management. The package offered for the right candidate is 50 k-60 k monthly.

Responsibilities

*Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and daily bookkeeping for diverse clients using QuickBooks.
* Invoicing & Receivables: Prepare and process client invoices, manage payment tracking, and conduct timely follow-ups.
* Tax & Compliance: Assist in tax calculations, maintain VAT records, and support routine statutory compliance duties.
* Client & Internal Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding financial entries and documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
* Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting operations.
* Software Skills: Practical working knowledge of QuickBooks is essential.
* Communication: Good written and fair verbal English communication skills.
* Attributes: Strong attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently.
