Alongside product excellence, the company has developed strong in-house marketing capabilities that engage a passionate and growing community worldwide. Mous aims to raise industry standards and build one of the most effective consumer brands globally.

The Demand Planning Lead will oversee the entire Device Accessories category plan, including demand forecasting, supply management, and inventory health for cases, screen protectors, accessories, and wireless chargers. This category is Mous’s largest by SKU count and stock value and is highly sensitive to device launch timings such as iPhone, Pixel, and Samsung releases. The role involves creating launch forecasts and initial order quantities, managing weekly allocations across multiple regions and sales channels (D2C web, Amazon, retail, Google), reordering existing SKUs, and coordinating stock transfers. The Demand Planning Lead will also monitor inventory health, collaborate with Commercial teams on pricing strategies to clear excess stock, and track key performance indicators like Availability, Forecast Accuracy, and Excess & Obsolete stock (E&O). This position requires cross-functional collaboration with teams across the UK, Pakistan, and China and reports to the S&OP Manager in China. The role includes line management of one Demand Planner based in Pakistan and is office-based in Lahore with a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own new product demand planning for device launches (iPhone, Pixel, Samsung), including initial forecasts, assumptions, initial order quantities (IOQ), and scenario-based cash exposure, securing sign-off from Product, Commercial, and Senior Leadership.
- Manage initial launch allocations and weekly top-ups, including Amazon restocks, aligned with production planning.
- Track launch performance by product range, color, and channel to inform reorder decisions.
- Update monthly forecasts for existing SKUs and quarterly adjustments based on actual sales data.
- Handle reordering processes, ensuring compliance with supplier minimum order quantities (MOQs) and approval workflows.
- Monitor inventory health through weekly overstock reviews and collaborate on pricing and discounting to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
- Coordinate stock movements including weekly allocations, hub-to-warehouse, Amazon, and inter-warehouse transfers.
- Lead retail planning activities, including forecasts, IOQs, allocations, and prioritizing stock between web and retail channels.
- Drive category KPIs such as Availability, Forecast Accuracy (WAPE/bias), and E&O, embedding a reliable monthly S&OP cycle.
- Simplify SKU portfolio by removing low-productivity lines and reducing complexity related to MOQs.
- Collaborate across Commercial, Marketplaces, Pricing, Product, Retail, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Data, and Senior Leadership teams.
- Line manage, coach, and develop one Demand Planner.

Required Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in demand planning, category planning, or S&OP within a fast-moving, high-SKU environment, with proven ownership of end-to-end monthly cycles.
- Expertise in new product launch forecasting based on external launch dates, including scenario planning (downside, mid, upside) without prior sales history.
- Advanced Excel skills capable of managing large datasets (1,000+ SKUs, multiple warehouses and channels) and translating data into actionable insights.
- Ability to quantify trade-offs between availability and excess & obsolete stock in units, cash, and margin, and present these to senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of production and supply constraints such as MOQs, lead times, capacity, and freight modes, plus warehouse and 3PL stock flows including Amazon FBA.
- Experience managing stock allocation and transfers across regions and channels (D2C web, Amazon, retail).
- Proven experience in managing, coaching, or mentoring junior planners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in consumer electronics or mobile accessories, especially categories driven by third-party launch calendars.
- Familiarity with Amazon marketplace planning, including transfers, splits, and promotional events like Prime Day.
- Exposure to retail or wholesale forecasting alongside D2C operations.
- Background in tech, D2C, CPG, or FMCG industries.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or equivalent tools for KPI dashboard creation and analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL or data modeling.
- Supply chain or planning certifications such as APICS/CPIM, CIPS, or advanced Excel and data analysis credentials.

Mous offers a hybrid working model with four days in the Lahore office to foster collaboration and culture. Benefits include a monthly travel allowance, comprehensive health allowance, long-term rewards such as paid leave after five years, competitive salary aligned with experience, a dynamic and data-driven work environment, opportunities for professional growth, training budgets, regular internal knowledge-sharing sessions, exclusive perks via Charlie HR, and global collaboration with international teams.
