We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician/Dental Assistant to join our team at Aligno, located in DHA Phase 5, Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting dental professionals by assisting with patient care and handling the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of dental prosthetics, appliances, and restorations. This position demands a strong dedication to quality, patient comfort, and effective teamwork within a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care Support:
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions. Prepare and maintain all necessary instruments, equipment, and materials required for treatments. Ensure strict sterilization and cleaning of dental instruments in compliance with hygiene protocols to guarantee patient safety. Provide patients with clear instructions and reassurance before, during, and after procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, and maintain accurate, detailed patient records.
Technical Duties:
Fabricate, repair, and maintain dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances. Work with dental impressions and models to create custom-fit devices tailored to patient needs. Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment while adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Perform adjustments and repairs on dental prosthetics to ensure proper fit and function.
Administrative Support:
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with other departments to keep comprehensive patient records up to date. Manage inventory for dental supplies, equipment, and aligners to ensure availability. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
Certification as a Dental Assistant or Dental Technician is essential. A strong understanding of dental procedures, materials, and equipment is required. Proficiency in dental software and digital imaging tools is expected. Excellent communication skills paired with a compassionate approach to patient care are necessary. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive attitude. High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work are critical for success in this role.
