This role involves the design and fabrication of dental prosthetics, appliances, and restorations such as dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic devices. The candidate will work closely with dentists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate treatment plans and deliver high-quality dental solutions. Attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols are essential to maintain patient safety and product functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, fabricate, and repair dental prosthetics, including dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances. Prepare impressions, casts, and models of patients’ teeth and oral structures according to specifications. Select and work with a variety of dental materials such as metals, ceramics, and plastics to create precise dental appliances. Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety. Inspect and test prosthetics and appliances to verify quality, accuracy, and usability. Collaborate closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to support treatment planning. Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment, instruments, and prosthetics as needed. Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in Dental Technology from a recognized institute. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in dental laboratory work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with dental teams and patients.
