The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Director (BPS-18) on a deputation basis. This role is based at the Islamabad headquarters, with opportunities to serve in regional or sub-offices, including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, or anywhere across Pakistan. The commission invites applications from eligible federal and provincial government officers to contribute to the administration and management of Pakistan’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. The position offers a challenging environment for candidates with experience in administration, project management, and financial oversight within government or autonomous bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administration, management, and financial functions including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and financial control.
- Lead project management activities such as planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination, and evaluation of various projects and programs.
- Manage organizational operations, ensuring effective coordination and administration.
- Prepare and coordinate briefs, summaries, reports, and official documents.
- Handle matters related to international cooperation and liaise with international organizations.
- Support the development and management of TVET initiatives, with a focus on improving education and training frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Any academic qualification is acceptable.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in administration, project management, or financial management.
- Candidates must be federal or provincial cadre officers, preferably from Secretariat, Directorates, Planning & Development, Audit, or Accounts departments.
- Officers from provincial management or service cadres are also eligible.
- Age limit for applicants is between 18 and 55 years.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in the education sector, particularly in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), will be given preference.
- Deputation appointments will be made according to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan but will submit their joining at NAVTTC headquarters in Islamabad.
