Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL) is seeking a qualified and motivated Deputy Manager (Applications) to join their team. This role involves managing and overseeing application development and support functions to ensure the efficient operation of the company’s IT systems. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems to support business operations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Manage application upgrades, patches, and system enhancements in line with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Prepare detailed documentation for applications, including user manuals and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements related to application management.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effective use of applications.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application development, management, or a similar role within an IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages, database management, and application frameworks relevant to the company’s technology stack.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
