Deputy Manager Costing

We are looking for a detail-oriented Deputy Manager Costing to manage day-to-day costing operations at the Refrigerator Factory. The role will supervise the factory costing team, ensure accurate production and inventory cost records, monitor cost variances, and coordinate with relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily factory costing operations and supervise Costing Executives assigned to different production and process groups.
Ensure timely and accurate collection of production, material consumption, and inventory data.
Monitor raw materials, parts, work-in-process (WIP), and finished-goods movements.
Ensure accurate product-wise and batch-wise cost accumulation.
Prepare and review daily and weekly factory costing MIS and reports.
Reconcile production records with Warehouse, Accounts, and costing information.
Review BOM-based material consumption against actual usage and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor wastage, rejection, scrap, rework, and abnormal material consumption.
Prepare actual versus standard/estimated costing analysis and investigate first-level cost variances.
Ensure accurate recording of production quantities and inventory movements for month-end closing.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, and Factory Accounts to resolve costing-related issues.
Ensure proper maintenance of source documents, costing sheets, and supporting working papers by the costing team.
Support ERP/Odoo implementation by documenting existing costing processes and validating future workflows.
Manage parallel reporting during the transition from manual MIS to Odoo and resolve discrepancies between the two systems.
Consolidate factory costing information and submit reports to the Head Office Cost Controller.

Qualifications:

ACMA Qualified/Part-qualified, ACCA Qualified/Part-qualified, or equivalent qualification.
At least 4 years of relevant experience in costing, factory accounts, or manufacturing finance.
Strong understanding of product costing, BOMs, material consumption, inventory reconciliation, and cost variance analysis.
Experience in factory costing MIS and coordination with Production and Warehouse teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; Odoo experience will be an advantage.
