Deputy Manager Datasphere

The Deputy Manager for Datasphere / Business Data Cloud & SAP Analytics plays a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data models and analytics solutions. This position ensures the delivery of accurate, reliable, and actionable business insights by focusing on data migration, integration, governance, and advanced analytics. The role supports enterprise-wide decision-making and reporting through effective use of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and related SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud models, including semantic layers, data replication, and harmonized datasets to meet business needs.
- Lead end-to-end data migration cycles encompassing data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards, reports, and planning models to support various business functions and enhance decision-making.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BW Bridge, and non-SAP data sources to provide a unified analytics environment.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data lineage across all data models to maintain integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective functional and technical solutions.
- Manage system testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), along with documentation and knowledge transfer activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by adopting new SAP cloud analytics capabilities and optimizing existing data models for better performance and scalability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of professional experience in SAP Data & Analytics, with a strong focus on data modeling, integration, and analytics solutions.
- Proven track record of at least two full lifecycle implementations or migrations involving SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Expertise in SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud is mandatory.
- Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting and planning.
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and/or BW Bridge.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data structures such as CDS Views and Analytical Queries.
- Strong skills in SQL, scripting, data modeling, and integration design.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), with basic knowledge of Azure or AWS preferred.
- Understanding of data governance tools and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
