Joyland Ltd is looking for a Deputy Manager Finance (Reporting) to join their team in Karachi. This role is suited for finance professionals with 2-3 years of post-articles experience in a reputable industry who are eager to contribute to financial reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The position offers a competitive salary range of PKR 150,000 to 170,000 and requires on-site presence to facilitate close collaboration with the finance team and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports accurately and on time. Develop Management Information System (MIS) reports, dashboards, and detailed financial performance analyses to support decision-making. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management. Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing activities to ensure timely completion. Review general ledger accounts, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accuracy. Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and relevant regulations. Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary financial schedules and documentation. Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate governance standards. Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance reporting function to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be CA Finalists, ACCA, or ICMA qualified. A minimum of 2-3 years of post-articles experience in a reputable industry is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to management are critical for success in this role.
